Mrs. Stefani Fesi: Math/Science

Mrs. Jenny Michael: English/Reading

Mrs. Michael began her teaching career at Seckman High School in 2007. In 2023, Mrs. Michael joined the staff at Webster Groves High School where she teaches Honors World Literature, 20th Century American Literature, and Freshman Literature and Composition.

Mrs. Michael was approached during her second year teaching to take over the English/Reading portion of the ACT classes at Seckman High School. She jumped at the opportunity and has been a part of the program ever since. Two years after Mrs. Michael took the position as the English/Reading teacher, Mrs. Montgomery joined forces with her to strengthen the program to what it is today.

The ACT Prep is a rewarding class as it allows the teachers to see the students accomplish their ultimate test score and be accepted into the university of their choice.  It makes her job that much better to see the smiles on her students faces when they have finally gotten their dream score.

Mrs. Michael was born and raised in Brookfield, WI. She graduated from Saint Louis University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education. She received her Master's Degree in Communication Arts with an emphasis in Language Arts in 2015, Master's Degree in Reading in 2018 (Reading Specialist Certification), and a Writing Certificate in 2018 from Webster University.

Mrs. Fesi began her teaching career at Fox Junior High in 1991.  She spent 6 years there teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra I.  She moved to Seckman High School when it opened in 1997 and has been there ever since.  Throughout her 32 years of teaching, Mrs. Fesi has taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra 2, and ACT Prep.

Over 15 years ago, she proposed the idea of teaching ACT Prep at Seckman High School, after teaching many successful after-school sessions.  She has taught the Math and Science sections of the course since the very beginning and is one of ACT Prep’s strongest advocates.  She loves seeing her students improve their ACT scores, reach their ACT goals, and pursue the next step of their educational journey by heading off to college.

Mrs. Fesi graduated from Saint Louis University in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education.  She received a Master’s Degree in Education from Fontbonne University in 1995.

Ms. Holly Dunlop: Math/Science

Ms. Dunlop began her teaching career at Seckman High School in 2006.  Since her start, she has taught freshmen (Algebra I) and juniors (Algebra II), and most recently ACT Prep.

Ms. Dunlop was approached during her tenth year teaching to join the ACT program and teach the Science/Math portion of the ACT classes.  She enthusiatically joined the team and has been a part of the program ever since. Ms. Dunlop joined Mrs. Fesi in teaching strategies and content for the Science and Math portion of the ACT.

She likes inspiring and helping students reach their goals and dreams for their college aspirations.  Ms. Dunlop enjoys seeing students' full potential in their quest to higher education.
