WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS SUMMER ACADEMY?

Any student going into their junior or senior year or any sophomore who has completed Algebra II. These students should be planning on attending a 4-year college directly out of high school.

 

WHAT WILL STUDENTS GET OUT OF THIS SUMMER ACADEMY?

Students will be able to learn and apply specific test-taking strategies to various types of questions on all 4 of the A.C.T. subtests.  Students will also review content in the area of math and English and be able to successfully read and interpret many types of graphs.  

 

WHO IS TEACHING THE CLASS AND WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?

Students will be taught by trained ACT coaches and will receive two ACT workbooks to keep for future review.  A graphing calculator is highly recommended.  Graphing calculator programs will be available to download to any TI 83 or TI 84 graphing calculators.  Make sure to bring a good attitude and a #2 pencil and a pen every day.
